about Ronald Jenkees

I graduated with a BA in Graphic Design from Drake University in 2004. I also attended the Illinois Institute of Art in Schaumburg. Soon after graduation, I worked for Jason Jasnos designing everything from posters, web pages and labels, to business cards and logos. I met a variety of clients and expanded my skill sets as I tackled new jobs and learned new ways to approach projects.

Currently I live in Korea, where I have been since 2006. I teach English at an Oriental Medicine university, and also continue to freelance for people back in the States, and in Korea as well. Immersing myself in Asian culture has opened up my creative process, as I have taken in Eastern uses of design, color and implementation into my own work.

I enjoy designing bold, creative and exciting works, but I can adapt to fit any type of job. I have experience in all types of design and mediums, alhtough illustration in all its forms will always be my first love.
